OUR VALUES
1. Biblical Teaching
We are committed to teaching and using the Bible in preaching, pastoring and personal study. The Bible is the authoritative and inspired Word of God that is essential for knowing him and living godly lives [2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Pet 1:21].
2. Proclaiming Christ
We are committed to boldly proclaiming Jesus Christ in word and deed to those in our community who don’t yet know him as Lord and saviour. As the good news of Jesus is proclaimed, God calls people to himself [Matt 28:19; 1 Cor 1:23-24; 1 Pet 3:15].
3. Prayer
We are committed to praying individually and collectively for all things. Prayer is an expression of our dependence on God’s sovereignty and our relationship with him as our heavenly Father [Matt 6:9-13; Phil 4:6; Eph 6:18; Col 4:2].
4. Spiritual Growth
We are committed to growing in faith and godliness so that we may better love and serve God and each other. Spiritual growth occurs as we are transformed by his Word and Spirit so that we would submit our whole lives to him and his good purposes [Matt 22:36-40; Rom 12:1-2, Eph 4:11-16].
5. Community Focus
We are committed to loving and serving our community with acts of service, opening up our lives and homes and proclaiming Christ in a way that is culturally relevant. [Acts 2:44-46; Rom 12:13; 1 Cor 9:19-23]
